Hi TFL,
For sale is the Aero Hudson that I bought from Japan. I picked this up while exploring different jacket designs but have decided the long half belt is not for me.
It has a blue label though I'm not sure if it means it was made by an apprentice or with offcuts like it is now. The wonderful people at Aero dated the jacket to possibly the mid/late 90s but were not able to determine the tannage. The leather is thick, the grain is incredible and the surface feels like it has a semi-aniline finish with a top coat. The lining in the body is Donegal tweed while the sleeves are lined in very soft brown cotton drill and have storm cuffs.
It is a heavy jacket at 6.6lb (3kg).
Measurements:
Pit-to-pit - 23"
Shoulder - 19.25"
Back length - 28.5"
Sleeve length (measured straight) - 25"
Asking $500 Paypal F&F shipped CONUS. Come get this uncommon make at a steal!
Thanks for looking. Pics below
Zipper tape plastic reinforcement is coming loose but still works fine
