Silly question but is it a true 7 1/4 or a bit on the fat or skinny side of the line? I am trying to convince myself it might work for me.

I would call it a loose 7 1/4. I actually had to shim it. I can take some measurements if you want?

That would be great. I would love to add one of Art's milans to my collection. I procrastinated on ordering one until it was too late.

I'm between 1/8 and 1/4 and I had to use felt shims all the way around to get a good fit. So halfway between a 7 1/4 and 3/8 is where I would call it.
