Hat arrived today but too large for my noggin, before I send it back I'm offering it here at a small discount. $100.00 + shipping.

Is this size 59 post or pre-shrink? Is it too big for you even with the foam and subsequent shrinkage?

I bought a 59 and when I first put it on it was over my ears! With the foam and subsequent shrinking it now fits fine like my other 58s.

I've been told that it will shrink down to 58 in time, currently in post it's over my ears with the foam.

I buy my FED IV hats in size 61 as opposed to my normal size 60. I start off with two felt shims, take one out after a month or two, and by 4 - 6 months of normal wear they fit perfectly sans shims. You may be able to speed up the process with water and/or steam. Also, I find that just with some simple bashing and wearing around the house they seem to fit a bit better.

Just a thought if you otherwise like the hat.
