For sale:
A near perfect hat. This Portis is a great sand (with hint of peach) color felt accented by a 1 3/4" black ribbon with shark gills and a wind cord. The bound brim shows a stitch row accent next to a 1/4" of binding on the top of the brim and 1/2" of binding on the bottom of the brim. 2 1/2" brim and 4 3/4" to the top of the front pinch give it the classic fedora dimensions. The leather sweatband is pliable and stitched tight.
There is nothing wrong with this hat and everything right. The plastic tip liner is not dirty, just aging plastic.
Length of head opening is 7.875 X 6.5 = 22.68 circumference.
If a custom hatter delivered this hat to a customer there would be raving all day long on the lounge. And it would cost a pretty penny.
Asking $165 + shipping. Yes, it's a steal.
