Bought this last new last year, worn about a dozen times, clean, no smells or stains or moth nibbles

If you haven't already sold this; how true does it run as far as sizing goes? I consider myself a 7.5+...but 7 5/8 is too big. Thanks, Hoss

I haven't sold it and I have 3 modern Stetsons and they all run a little big on me. I am a true 7.5 (long oval) and I put a little strip of felt on the sides to compensate for being that head shape...but 7 5/8 stetson is too big for me also...

so this hat falls between the 7.5-7 5/8 range for my noggin.
