FS: WW1 1915 Sam Browne Military Leather Belt w/ Two Straps & Leather Case

Original, authentic 1915 British Army Sam Browne brown leather belt with a shoulder strap, an additional leather strap and a leather pouch in which the set has been stored.

As for the authenticity, aside from the period correct spec. pattern, the year 1915 is clearly visible on one of the straps, alongside the manufacturers name "John Boyle & Co. 9015".

The entire set appears to be in a fantastic condition, especially given its age. Leather is very healthy, pliable with nice sheen. No cracks or dryness. All the metal parts are flawless, except for some verdigris here and there (perfectly cleanable).

Honestly, I've no clue what to ask for it. I wanted to install it on a leather jacket but it's too short. Hit me up with an offer you're comfortable with and let's take it from there.

The belt measures...

  • Full length: 107 cm / 42"
  • Buckle to closest set of holes (tightest width): 53 cm / 21"
  • Buckle to last set of holes (max width): 61 cm / 24"
  • The shoulder strap length is 92 cm or 36"
  • The third strap length is 114 cm / 45"

Monitor…..that is one ensemble in terrific shape! I had my grandfathers for years when I was a kid and it eventually fell apart ,as it was constantly worn.
Great find.
