This was our first time building a bowler but we are not offering them at this time do to the time consuming process of hand sewing the bound edge. Hopefully in the future we can offer them

Nice. I can't wait to see more. I know there is not a huge demand for bowlers, even here on TFL, but getting a good D'Orsay-like brim curl is a key ingredient.

It appears to me that you already have the latest version of the attachment Robert. As CWV suggested, the troubles you're having may have to do with ribbon tension. I'll know more when I get mine up and running.
