Glasgow artist Jack Vettriano's penchant for a Fedora!

The working class boy from Glasgow has made it big now in the art world with his famous paintings of Singing Butlers on beaches and rather dark, sexy paintings of men and women (with dark film noir undertones of something sinister going on).

But the thing that strikes me with these pictures that have 1930/40/50's feel about them, are the Fedoras that keep making an appearance.

Even the darker paintings where the guy has his tile off, and a half clad woman nearby, seems to hint that his lid is just lying out of shot.

So what do you think of his Fedora work then guys?

They're neat looking, but something about the brims is wrong. I think they may not be curved enough. Very cool paintings, though.
