Well, i don't accept the notion that one must follow a joke with LOL, just kidding, or a smiley. We're mostly nice people around here, and it's pretty obvious when someone's making fun of you in a friendly way. So, yet another reason why LOL is useless.

My pet peeves:

Using MS Word and having ran the "Spelling and Grammar" tool and it tells me all first characters of each line needs to be a capital letters even in the same paragraph.

MS Word doesn't or shouldn't do that unless you're hitting ENTER at the end of each line. If you insert a hard return, it assumes the next character starts a new sentence. You should just type away and let wrapping break the lines wherever needed. You can also turn off the splitting & hyphenating mid-word if you wish.

Its = possesive, i.e. its color.

It's = it is.


Simple rule not always followed.
