... in Trondheim, Norway today.
Well made and accurate - superfino! Thank you for your effort.

Attatching a picture of an old measurer, taken in the Gorostiaga hat shop in Bilbao a couple of weeks ago. According to the manager (3rd gen hat maker, now surviving on selling "txapelas" (berets in basque)), this tool was made in Paris in the 1880's.

I should've sprung for one of these the first time; it appears to be an easy way to figure the hat size from a 'roid cap, and almost everyone has one of those. I will go $135 plus shipping.
