For todays HH it was a Worth-Walden 15X over a few German Wethenstephaner Dunkels (new to me). Caramel based with some orange undertones on nose & pallet. Tart citrus on the aftertaste, like orange peel zest. I like this Dunkel.

& a pint of Boulevard Brewing’s Bob's ‘47 Oktoberfest, a German Marzen. If you’ve drank any of Bob’s ‘47 series then you know it’s pretty mild.

Don’t really know how the two lists were put together until you study some of the whiskies of the world on the Medicine Cabinet list. Don’t know when prices might have been updated last either.

A couple of Firestone Walker Brewing Co. Oktoberfests @ 5.2% ABV & a few Voodoo Ranger Hop Raiders @ 8.1 % ABV…

…then home for some sipping whiskey with some Colkegan Mesquite Cask Strength @ 118 proof from Santa Fe Spirits, with a Stetson One-hundred.

I received a compliment tonight when an out of town traveler asked me where he could buy a hat like mine. Before explaining to him what it was, I told him he was at least 50 yrs too late.

Finally home from a working weekend. Home to enjoy a Guinness and a dram of Wee Beastie. My choices I thoroughly enjoyed. I did take some of the whiskey drops off the cork on my hand and rub my palms together. I have seen this done on whiskey vids in order to capture the smells. I like the smell of the warmed Ardbeg on my hands. The peaty, whiskey scent is excellent. I do not think I will rub it on my hands and then on my checks as a whiskey cologne. IMO that may be too far.

I added a couple pics of beers I had the end of last week. I am sharing pics of Omni Hazy beer,a Surley Delicious and Guinness Stout beers imbibed.

We were back at the Nine Fine Irishmen Pub for drinks tonight after dinner. My wife is not much of a straight alcohol kind of person but after trying my Tullamore Dew the other night she decided to order one to sip on. I had a Teeling Single Grain, which was ok, and a Smithwicks followed by a Green Spot, which I really enjoyed. Sorry no pictures this time around but I have really been enjoying sipping on these Irish whiskeys. Slainte!

Macallan currently holds the world record for most collectible luxury priced whisky sold at auction. On Oct 5th Macallan set the record for oldest whisky ever sold when they sold a bottle of 81 yr old Speyside, The Reach, at Sotheby’s for $270,487.00.

The crown on the Whippet looks remarkably tall. A quick search for a Stetson Whippet resulted in nothing approaching what I'm looking at. If I may be so bold, may I ask where you obtained such a fine looking hat? Thanks--

This HH for Taco Tuesday spent under a Stetson No. 1Q with some Negra Modelo on tap.

Then home to turn Taco Tuesday into Tequila Tuesday with some Flecha Azul Reposado.
