Heated hat stretcher

NO LONGER FOR SALE. Sorry.

I recently bought this vintage heated hat stretcher on eBay. At first I didn’t think the heating element worked, but it just needed a 20 amp circuit (it blew my GFI). It now heats up well on both hemispheres. It is missing one of the two guide bars and that allows the two hemispheres to wobble a bit; I don’t see that being much of an issue, but you might see things differently. It certainly still works as a hat stretcher. The mechanism runs smooth.

$200 plus actual shipping (it’s a heavy serious piece of kit).

send me a PM if you’re interested.
Always surprises me how many different models of these things were made. You should post those pics in the hatters tools thread as well, Brent. If only for documentation and future reference.
