This heavy duty Egyptian cotton is more like a lighter canvas and is just lovely. It says: "Give me a Buggatti to drive!" Or "A Sopwith Camel to ride the skies!"
I'm 5' 8 1/2 and this coat protects me right down to the ankles!! Lovely brushed cotton blanket liner to keep you cosey! Fold over flaps on the pockets to keep them dry. Shoulder cape to cover the seams most vulnerable to the rain and elements.
Made by Backhouse of New Zealand for Barbour (I believe Barbour owns the company that is famous for it's stockmans jackets).
Size 40 to 46" (the way the weight drapes the cotton there's the room and it looks easily as good on a 40" which is 'me' up to a 46" who will fill it out more).
Riding attachments for the legs on the inside. Cord collar. I'll let the photos do the talking. Lovely, lovely coat with a real vintage feel to it, but just not getting the wear time, like a few things in my closet! [huh]
