Hi everyone, I've been admiring the incredible knowledge on this board for a while and finally decided to join. My name is [Name] and I have a deep passion for early 20th-century military tailoring, specifically WWI and WWII garments.

I spend a lot of my time studying original tunics, field gear, and outerwear to understand how they were patterned and constructed back in the day. I actually run a small outfit called Paddelaters where we recreate some of these pieces.

I’m here mostly to learn from the experts on this board, talk about vintage fabrics, and share some of the research I do when tearing down original garments to study their construction. Looking forward to chatting with you all!

Please do your due diligence. Searching for "Paddelaters" on the web brings up a number of comments about them. Most are from some time ago. Some are OK, some far from it.

I have never used this company/vendor myself, and all I know about them is from comments on the web.
