Hello... with a question

Hello All. I am new to this site. You all have a lot of incredible info and interests; I hope I can contribute to the site.

I have had a few nice hats over the years, but they have all gone on to other lives during some of my moves. Recently, I found a hat at an antique store that 'spoke' to me. It's the hat in my Avatar - (I will post a few better pics when I get a chance.) The logo inside says Brill's, Milwaukee. My question is this: Does anyone know anything about Brill's. The only thing I have found was a scanned page of a Milwaukee paper from 1901 or '02, but it isn't easily readable and doesn't really help much. Any help? Anything is helpful for this burgeoning obsession.

I apologize if I've posted this in the wrong place. I checked around the site, but still haven't gotten through even a small fraction of it all!

Thanks again!

Brill's was most likely a hat store which may or may not have been the actual manufacturer of the hat. Lots of hats you'll find have the name & city of the store that sold them. Like a Stetson my have Bob's Hats - Dallas (totally making up said name off the top of my hatless (at the moment) head) stamped in it.

And welcome to the Lounge!
