I live in the Santa Clarita area of Los Angeles and I'm looking for a competent but not ultra-pricey tailor. I've used up most of the locals with varied results. Specifically, I have a late thirties/early forties suit that needs the pants shortened and the same with the coat sleeves; nothing exotic, but I'd still like to have a real tailor, and not some dry cleaner-tailor-small appliance repaired while U wait kind of place. I'm sure for what I've been paying for simple alterations I should be able to get the real deal. Any suggestions regarding a tailor anywhere in the San Fernando, Simi Valley or Santa Clarita would be much appreciated.
