Help! Shoe Repair in Seattle!

Well there is no quality shoe repair store in Juneau, Alaska so my next bet is to send the pair to Seattle but I do not know which shop to choose!

Any folks living in the area know of a good shop to send my shoes? They need the leather soles replaced.

Dave Page Cobblers in Seattle does great work. My boss sent a pair of boots to him to have them resoled, and they came back looking brand new. I've always hear that Swanson's in Wallingford is the place to go for dance shoes. Let me check with my guy friend that's used them to make sure they're the ones that you want for fixing your shoes.

Johnny's in Ballard. (Seattle neighborhood.) Dave Page does almost exclusively hiking boots. I've had Johnny's fix purses, and favorite shoes and boots that I thought were a lost cause.
(BTW, I grew up in Douglas!)

I recommend Admiral Shoe Repair in West Seattle. I have used about 4 different cobblers in the city of Seattle and he is the best I've found. Prices are fair and turnaround if fast -- usually just a few days. Cash only though.
