This was taken at Livermore, CA at the open house for the B-24 and the B-17 (which I am standing in front of). Both planes are restored WWII bombers. Great planes, great photos.

The Hat is a Panama Bob, blocked by Art. It has a wide brim and tall crown.

Great for fair skinned fellow's like me, on sunny open airport airshow days!

The second photo is in front of a Beechcraft 18. Beautifully restored plane.

It was blocked by Art, and it looks great.

Do you agree? The very wide brim really helped keep my Irish from burning in the hot Livermore Valley sun! Airports can be as nasty as being out on a boat on the lake for sun exposure!
