My avatar is an actual photograph of my pewter gray Stetson ******* that I have run through a couple of Photoshop effects.

Glad you like the look. That ******* was open crown when I got it, and I creased it into that particular shape. So, I think the best answer to your question is that a variety of vintage lids could be made to look that way -- it's a question of creasing it the way you want.
