I dressed up for a 70s themed party, but I got some positive comments so I might try and spin it out 
I think with this look that there is a thin line between pulling off some cold swag, or looking like a complete idiot... not sure I managed to stay entirely on the right side of the line here but it worked.
I'm looking for style inspiration now, especially in terms of brands, ideas, historical characters, films...
How do I describe this style? How can I build on it or create new looks of a similar feel?
I want to look stylish rather than "fancy dress". I also don't want to look overdressed (which can be hard when you accessorise)
I guess it's kind of glam rock... I'd grow my hair but unfortunately it's not as abundant as it used to be.
