I Finally Saw It

I was walking down the hall at work today and couldn't believe my eyes. I saw a co-worker walking toward me wearing a fedora. Until now I have been the only hat wearer in a company of over 2500 employees. I know a couple of gentlemen that regularly wear driving caps - in fact, the gentleman I saw today usually wears one - but no fedoras until today.

I'm glad to see that hats are coming back.

What a coincidence...

Oddly enough, I just started wearing a fedora to work today. Previously, I had worn driving caps (no, I don't work with SinatraStyle). I wore my new Stetson Delaware, and my co-workers really liked the style. In the area where I live and work (Lancaster County, PA), hats are very common. However, they are usually straw hats worn by the Amish and stingy brim fedoras worn by Mennonites. I doubt I'll be a trend-setter. :D
