I thought I'd have a little fun and try to imagine vintage clothing enthusiasts as vegetarians. . . the categories are'nt perfect, but they seemed funny to me at least.
The Aspiring Vegetarian
Just like a real aspiring vegetarian, this category of vintage clothing enthusiast loves the look, feel, and flavor of the era; but is either just beginning to explore the vintage realm or is not ready to take the plunge.
The Vegetarian
An active advocate of vintage clothing from the golden era, the Vegetarian is a true enthusiast who daily eschews the cookie cutter appearance of modern garb and instead prefers a diet of vintage clothing or at least modern clothing with a vintage edge.
The Vegan
Just as Vegans avoid anything made with meat products (such as eggs or milk) This vintage clothing enthusiast wear only vintage clothing: nothing modern save a clean pair of underwear and absolutely no reproductions garments!
The Raw Vegan
Same as the Vegan, but is obsessed with NOS and deadstock vintage!
Tofurkey
Just like the lovers of garden burgers, tofurkey (tofu that tastes like turkey) and other meats substitutes, the Tofurkey category is for those that want the best of both worlds: newly tailored reproductions of vintage styled clothing!
I guess I would be a "vegetarian." Any other categories?
