Now, that's tough, eh? Has to be in a style and color that goes with just about anything you might wear, and durable since it's the one-and-only that you wear practically every day. Would have to be in a weight that you could wear in all seasons, too.
Me? I'd go with a vintage beaver fur felt fedora: Either a Cavanagh or lightweight Borsalino with about a 2 1/2-inch brim in light gray or silver belly.
Do I have either of these? No, but I continue to look for one in near-perfect condition in 7 1/8.
If I could find one, I'd dispense with all my other hats. And if you believe that, I'd like to talk with you about some property for sale in south Florida...
John Lofgren Monkey Boots Shinki Horsebuttt - $1,136 The classic monkey boot silhouette in an incredibly rich Shinki russet horse leather.
Grant Stone Diesel Boot Dark Olive Chromexcel - $395 Goodyear welted, Horween Chromexcel, classic good looks.
Schott 568 Vandals Jacket - $1,250 The classic Perfecto motorcycle jacket, in a very special limited-edition Schott double rider style. Now I know why you didn't answer my thread......lolK.D. Plus some cowboy hats -- a Stetson "Gus," a Rand cowboy hat, an open crown Bailey I have yet to have styled, may go for a Tom Mix look.
Can't think of a darned thing. Oh, I don't have a Stratoliner. So, maybe a Stratoliner. With one of those little airplane pins in it.
