Incoming Refurb Job

I impulsively snapped this up for a twenty four buck BIN on eBay.

I don't think it was up for over an hour.
I will admit it looks rough. Chalky white precipitate of some sort (ew!)

all over the sweat along with at least a few loose stitches and it looks as though it was pulled wrong ways through that proverbial mule, it has that odd green oxidized copper thing going on at the rear and then there is that lovely monogramming job lol ... still, I seldom see Imperial Stetsons come up and rarer still is a 7 5/8. I believe it has potential, a 2 5/8" brim w/ mode edge and with that liner, perhaps even pre-war. [huh]

but nice nonetheless. With a little tender love and care it'll spiff up nicely.

can/care to? it would really be a big help to the many newcomers to the Lounge, and it sure would help jar the memory of some of us addle-pated old so&so's...[huh]
