Instant messenger icons?

Why do IM icons not show up next to posts a member makes? It would be nice to see right there if they can be messaged on AIM or whatever.

Taking a huge stab in the dark here...but I would wager that feature is in a version of the board software that we are not using.

Well, I'm sure if you can see it in one's profile, it can be enabled to be displayed next to their avatar. Maybe I'm wrong.
