Emmababy- here's one I heard from someone in London. The nice bobby rings the doorbell of the fellow and ask him to take DOWN his flag. He asked why and the nice policeman, obviously assuming the role of psychologist and diplomat as well tells him that the immigrant kids as the nearby school might see it and "feel intimidated."

This blew me away so far I still have no words to respond to that bit of political correctness taken to the extreme:(

I don't understand why anyone really cares about flags in general. Especially the furore when flags get burnt.

Emmababy:

The flag represents my Country--which I love!--my State---which I love!--my fellow citizens and friends--which I love--my family--which I love!--And me--which I am okay with! That is why I care! And, I care--deeply--magnificently--brilliantly--and alot! The flag is---my family portrait--COMPLETE!!!

What type of person would--I ask--destroy that? And, in what regard and "high esteem" would you hold that so called 'person'?

June 14th was also the day family and friends said goodbye to 2,800 of your New Jersey neighbors.
