Japanese Hand-Painted Ties , c. 1945

I started this thread last night, but it seems to have completely disappeared. Here's a second go at it.

Basically, the ties below were hand-painted in occupied Japan between 1945 and 1952. They were almost certainly made for U.S. servicemen. Each is signed by the artist. I've never seen such beautifully painted ties. They're somewhat difficult to find; after 10 years of searching, I've only found 3 very good ones.
