Two of the best hat shops are toraya ginza, and ca4la. The only hat made in Japan by Fujiico company is a licensed KNOX, avaliable for Yen 23,000. Ca4la has a branch in London, and is a trendy company, mainly stocking Borsalino Fedoras as well as a second line made by Fijiico. Hope this helps. The KNOX`s are no longer made in the US I believe.

The Knox brand is still owned by HATCO, in the US. A few Knox hats are manufactured now, at the Garland, Texas plant. The line goes almost entirely to Levine's:
