I picked up this interesting WWII DVD at BEST BUY for $6.99

using never before seen footage Japan's War In Color tells a previously untold story. It recounts the history of the second world war from a Japanese perspective, combining original color film with letters and diaries written by Japanese people. It tells the sory of a nation at war from the diverse perspectives of those who lived through it: the leaders and the ordinary people, the oppressors and the victims, the guilty and the innocent

I watched it in class, it was ok. I thought is repeditive and we are still joking about the narrator (my classmates and I). "...until now" or what not. It is a good record of history, but it is a bit boring into it. Just my take.
