Yes this was fresh out the box. Took it for a ride today works very well. Very comfortable. I cinched up the side laces and cut off some extra lace.

What hide is this brown? I am looking to buy a dark brown leather jacket from either Johnsons or Aero, and like this dark brown.

Well, talked to JL today. Getting a little sleeve length taken off. Want to wear it for casual too and just do not need that much length. Might be my favorite leather so far. A mix of vanson comp and langlitz medium cow. The collar was flapping quite a bit so I am adding the collar snaps- hidden. And since I am getting the snaps figured I would have them throw on a badge holder why not haha

That is a great shade of brown. That Horween hide looks spectacular.

What are you currently working on RK? I recall a JL of some sort but can’t remember.

I have a JL in the works and HOPEFULLY should be done very soon. They were finishing it up last week, so hopefully will be done in the next few days. It is going to be a modified perfecto. Laced sides, with a belt, 4oz black overdye, detatchable collar, and insulated lining. Hopefully I will be able to post pics of it soon.

GD right. Sounds awesome. I know you were out there. Sounds like a kick ass jacket. I hope it hits all your marks.
