Joseph Bueys Fedora

Bueys was a German performance artist, graphic artist, art theorist and
fedora wearer. Rarely was he photographed without what appears to
be a 5" crowned, 2 14" brimmed hat.

As I remember it, he was in the Luftwaffe and was shot down over the Russian steppes. He was found by some Cossacks, who wrapped him in animal fat and felt and then went off to get him help. His performance pieces often involved fat, fur, and rabbits. Interesting artist.
