Actually the tread you pointed to, Scotrace, tells us that his pure beaver hats come from Mr. Funmaker in CO. That was not the question originally asked. No need to be snippy.

The gent who started this thread was, I believe, asking about which model Akubra comes closest to the current one Josh wears. Or as Indy Fans say, "Close enough."

His original hats were Akubras but, which model? Personally, I think he wore the Banjo Patterson, but I don't know for sure. The other model Akubras mentioned in the post are distinct possibilities.
