This is a lost art and I don't know why. Are they hard to do? So many cool vintage jackets from the 20s-40s had those cool knife pleats on the back (usually coming out of the halfbelt), yet I've never seen them in a repro. Maybe it's just one of those little details nobody bothers with anymore, but I wish they would.
