This is a beautiful Knox Custom Edge with wonderful dark charcoal grey, almost black buttery soft felt that is very yeaiding to the fingers adopting any style crease the wearer might want. The Custom Edge, also known as Cavanagh Edge was a high end edge treatment where the edge was thickened during the felting process creating a nice stiffened rounded brim edge without the seam of a welted edge. This one is in excellent condition all over. there are no moth bites. The ribbon is clean and not wrinkled. The sweatband is nice, supple, and secure with no stitches coming out. The lining is pristine with no staining, excellent onionskin protector, and original price tag $15.95.

I'm kind of surprised this has not sold already. It's a beautiful hat with Cavanagh edge, and the lines we all seem to like here. Were it not my size I'd be inclined to drop the price a bit, but if labor day rolls around and it's still in my possession I may just never let it go.
