Hi guys, I wanted to create a thread for Lancer Leathers (LL) jackets and add a little history I was able to find about the brand.

It appears that Lancer Leathers was started by Kent Ray Myers whose obituary I've linked to. Though I have not been able to get the exact date Lancer Leathers was started, it was likely during the late 60s or early 70s.

At some point (possibly during the 80's or 90's) Kent sold the business to the Meredith family, and Tommy Meredith and his wife Joan (in the picture), ran it. The dates on which the company closed are not clear.

I gathered this information from the Facebook page Arizona 70's & 80's Motocross where LL was quite a staple for local racers.

I purchased an unlabeled LL CR that I'll add some pics and thoughts about.

I saw a custom one on eBay a while back that seller wants an arm and a leg for. Leather looks beefy. Talon teardrop pocket zippers.

Here's a LL CR I briefly owned. It was a nice jacket, but it didn't fit. That said, the lining on this was not one piece sewn into the jacket, but rather multiple pieces of lining that were sewn with the leather points. It was very unusual.
