LBJ Bash in Seabiscuit

KC and alot of the fine gentlemen in FL have inspired me to search for a vintage open road.

I have just purchased one on ebay

DOVE COLORED FEDORA BY BYER - ROLNICK RESISTOL SELF CONFORMING . BEAVER 25. A B.

I know it's not a stetson, but is it decent enough? what is "beaver 25. AB." means?

I remember there was a scene in seabiscuit where Jeff Bridges was wearing a LBJ bash hat (when the trainer tried to tame seabiscuit with a sheep). Can anyone tell me if that hat is actually the same hat that has inspired many of us?
