Leather and the weather!

Just a quick post. I have 7 leather jackets, my favourites being my two Aero's. I have been a fan of quality leather jackets for some ten years now. However, I hardly ever wear them. In fact I spend more time laying them out on the bed and admiring them! The reason, the weather. It is either too hot (as with now), too cold or raining. Spring and Autumn seem to be the only times I can wear them comfortably. The thought of selling them has crossed my mind many times. I find I wear my Barbours more than my leathers. Does anybody else have this issue/thoughts?

The last few years our weather seems to flip from cold winter to warm summer with no season inbetween, so a lot of my mid-weight jackets have not been getting much wear.

That's precisely why I got rid of all my jackets. Just no point anymore. It is too hot until one day it isn't and then it is too cold or too rainy. This year, I don't believe that I counted more than 15 days altogether that allowed it for me to wear a leather jacket, five of which had me regretting the decision.

It had also gotten so weirdly humid that even on a day that otherwise would've been perfect for it, even the lightest leather jacket becomes a furnace. Can't wear it more than five minutes before turning into a sweaty mess and then I just use it as a leather sack.
