This post gets the 4 star award of the week. Hoodies and leather jackets go together like oil and water. Even though the younger crowd likes this combination, it doesn't make it any easier on the eyes.
Totally agree...in theory.
In reality...i’m never gonna sacrifice wearing my leather jackets just because i need a hood.
Don’t really care what onlookers see.
My warm head wins every time.

Hi All, went back to the store with a hoodie. Dark brown is size L, black is in M and for reference but current j100 in light brown size 40. On a side note, the sales also recommended Nudie’s Eddy as it’s similar to the style I’m looking for. Any one have any info if it’s a good product or not?

Thanks all.

I still like the black one the best. But if you absolutely want to wear hoodies, a Mandarin collar is certainly the better choice.

to me your own jacket fits you best with hoodies, maybe because it is broken in, the black one also OK fit wise but I agree with post above, mandarin collar looks better with hoodies if you often wear it like that, fold down collar looks better with something like turtleneck jumper or stand collar zip up cardigan inside or with scarf

The L size is way too long on you, those sleeves are ultra long. Also personally if you already have the light brown J100 I see no point in buying yet another very similar one.

If you're buying one get the black.

IMO a hoodie and a leather jacket have no business being together.
If you can wear a hoodie underneath a jacket, the jacket is too big.

To me that's like wanting to be able to wear a ski jacket underneath a dress suit, there is no reason to do it and a suit that allows you to wear a ski jacket underneath it will look like crap.

this is silly. Are you really suggesting wearing a sweatshirt or sweater under a leather jacket is a fashion faux paus??? Because that's all a hoodie is, albeit with a hood attached at the top, and btw the 'hood' element is irrelevant to what we're talking about here, it was just used as an example for sizing. btw - the ski jacket under a suit analogy is ridiculous. C'mon man! LOL

So my hoodies are all thicker than my sweaters. Even the thickest sweater I somehow get wearable under my jackets. With the hoodies it fits significantly less. In addition, the hood disturbs.

On a side note, can you guys please help me see whether my mister freedom N1H size 40 fits me? I believe it’s a baggy but my wife said she prefer this baggy fit. I’m typically wear McCoy size 40, 173cm, 80kg for reference.

too big, the sleeve knit is fully tunneling, I personally think whtaever jacket you wear with jeans, some of the front pocket opening of the jeans should still be visible below the hemline of the jacket.

Maybe it’s the hood itself that creates a slightly different fit or feel.

My Iron Heart collarless zip is the same weight as my hoodies at 14oz, which is about as heavy weight as I’ve seen.

I like to wear this one under my leather jackets. I believe it was created for riders to layer under a jacket (I could be wrong about that).
