List of WWII Reenactments?

Hey folks!

I thought it might be nice to consolidate a list of WWII reenactments. If nothing else it might be nice to see what else is out there in advance and allow folks an opportunity to plan ahead. Lord knows I would love a good road trip, which includes over seas!

Here in the Midwest we have these two that come to mind:


Midway Village WWII Weekend in Rockford IL. on Sept 27th and 28th

There is such an event, at the Railroad Museum of PA in Strasburg. It's called Trains and Troops and this year it's going to be held on November 8 & 9.

June 6,7 and 8 are the dates of Mid Atlantic Air Museum's WWII Weekend. This is perhaps the largest WWII reenactor event in the country, with over 1000 registered reenactors.

On April 26 there is a nice event at Fort Miles (at Cape Henlopen State Park, Lewes, Delaware).

I also see they have a good discount for Vets.... Now that's what I'm talking about!!! I can definately appreciate that!!
