where to look

read any of the treads about hair and you will find litteraly tones of information about how to get your hair done the vintage way :)

I did anyway, and thats how I finally understood how to do my hair, and not just my makup!

So thank you, all of you, who have been writing all those posts about hair ;)

Vintage hair is less to do with cuts and more to do with styling. If you have a go at some styles, like curls, waves and rolls, then you can decide what suits you best and go from there with a cut - for example, having some longer layers put in to make curling easier. If you want to leave it long, the vintage cut options are limited.

Have a look at the thread on here, have a go at some styles and show us - we can advise you on how to do it better, or whether it suits your face. Then you can work out how to have it cut.

Yep, check out the How to get the look sticky thread and Show us your hairdos thread.
Styling is key, but having at least a few layers makes it much easier.
You may want to try a few of the braided looks while your locks are long~ bandanas and ribbons would look adorable on you!
Best wishes,
Nikki
