About five years ago Stuart sold a number of these in small women's sizes on eBay. IIRC they were all advertised as horsehide, but I'm not 100 % sure. He told me they were made from "leftover" hides for the Japanese market and that they didn't reflect more recent LW quality. I bought one for my girlfriend and we liked it a lot, only resold it b/c it wasn't the right size. The leather had a very nice texture and smell and was certainly more hard-wearing and rugged than supposedly high quality stuff like Schott's naked cowhide.

I got this one about 10 years ago? Or even longer. The jacket has not being worn hardly due to the size is a little big one me.

IIRC his Flamingo label jackets are from the 90s.
Too bad this isn't my size, otherwise I'd buy it. I really like this leather.

Yes, I love the leather. I kept it because of this reason. However, I have way too many jackets and do not ride the road king as much as I used to. Thanks for sharing!

Not goat at all. I think is horse because of the density. If anyone out there with more info on this flamingo, please let me know. I can provide any close-up images to help the identification prosses.

Stu says these were all horsehide and made for export.
