Materials for vintage Royal Stetsons

Recently I've seen a number of Royal Stetsons for sale on the 'bay that are listed as "wool felt." I thought that the Royals were a higher quality fur felt hat. Does anyone know if Stetson produced Royals in wool or a wool/fur blend?

One often sees fur felt hats (even vintage Stetsons) listed as wool. Don't let that confuse you. More often than not, a wool hat will have 'wool' on the label. Happy hunting ~

That was my guess. I'm betting that they are fur felt hats and that the seller doesn't understand the difference. Good for me, too bad for him!
