I about jumped out of my seat when I saw that first pic and the label, then I saw the side zips..then I recognized it. Wow, that collar makes quite a difference. The collar jacket has an earlier zipper than mine mid to late 40s.

This one has the belt removed. I need a Collar!

Definitely looks like it could be a match. If true, all I will say is that the HH used by Guidemaster is a tier or two above their stellar Steer.

Guidemaster also has a distinctive stitch pattern horizontally across the top of the coin pocket. The Windward has it too. I guess both Guidemasters I have owned have been too small. The hunt continues.

Edit— I still prefer the Guidemaster pocket design with the almost north-south chest pocket.
