Watched it Saturday night and thought about posting it too.

I thought the hats in Killers of the Flower Moon were a big letdown. Modern ****py felt a lot of the time, overly stiff and the creases reflected that. Weirdly bad shapes too, anachronistic just like a lot of the music they used.

I'm very late to the party, but just saw this movie last week, and was very impressed with it in general. I loved watching the clothing and hats for the sheer pleasure of it, removed from historical accuracy concerns.

I do think the majority of the hats were more or less in keeping with contemporaneous styles, which was nice, but like the music they were chosen to help tell the story and describe the characters, and were not meant to be strictly historically accurate. Personally i thought the music was superb and was very effective, as were the hats and wardrobe chosen throughput the film.

But removed from all questions of authenticity and accuracy, I do think it was a real feast for the eyes for any hat lover out there.
