It's a great jacket, more in the vain of the Belstaff Trialmaster or Barbour International I think.

I believe that it is very much those civilian motorcycling jackets that it is patterend after, but the M42(?) jump jackets certainly bear a stylistic resemblence, to the point where I often wonder whether they were 'inspired' by the motorcycle jackets.
