Secret Agent X was a pulp character. One of those "man of a thousand faces" types. I have some reprints. You can actually download a few of the stories with the original illustrations for free as PDFs at http://pulpgen.com/pulp/downloads/list_by_mag.php?page=15
If you like them you order nice reprints from adventurehouse.com.

It still looks like a caulking gun.
Belly Tank has WSB's history down pretty well. I tend to equate the antics of WSB to Hunter S Thompson. The fact that they lived through it was a feet in itself. The movie Beat depicts WSB's early life pretty well, although sanitiezed for your protection. Naked Lunch rates at the top of my "weird" movie list. I highly recommend the CD Dead City Radio.
