I'm running some WWII miniatures-gaming scenarios over Memorial Day weekend, and figured it'd ratchet up the realism some if the players have someone (i.e. Scenario Administration, namely me) portraying "Higher Headquarters" wanting updates and urging them forward.
Problem: I need some ideas about what to say... which means I need some context about cultural core-values. Can our "global" members give me some ideas? (I know that with a Soviet force, it's all about Comrade Stalin and the Motherland, and for British Commonwealth "For King and Country!" is a good start, along with appeals in the Emperor's name for Japan, along with channeling MacArthur or Patton for the USA, but have almost no clue beyond those.)
Anyone care to throw a "command reenactor" in way over his head a lifeline?
