I can't believe the variety of books this publisher comes up with. Here's a new one on hats, "1000 Hats" by Norma Shephard:

Shiffer and Collecting go hand in hand.

Schiffer does make an effort to produce books aimed at the serious collector. I have 3 on fountain pens from them. They have an extensive list and their Stetson book is suppose to be pretty good.
