Lol ,I'm now in between a 42 and 44,don't want another jacket that I need to layer with.this was a jacket i looked at when monitor was selling, passed for same reasons, if see how it fits with someone who is taller and heavier than me I can determine what I need.but having 20 or so m/cycle jackets i really should sell before buying anything;-)

I'm somewhat similar. Measurements seem to be less reliable with perfectos but I’m hoping this one is as spot on as they should be. Perfectos can be such a guessing game with how the cuts get tweaked so if this one doesn’t workout as hoped I can certainly let you or @Loncster know!

Thank you! That one is an Eastman Roadstar that I picked up last year from a gentleman who is a member here, and has some very Cool Leather Jackets.
Thought it might be! It's such a flattering jacket on the right person, great pattern.

Can’t thank @tweedydon enough. Just absolutely gorgeous jacket and horsehide. Here are some initial fit pics, apologies for the open fly lol but took another with my belt showing for belt line reference.

New and unworn, with all original tags! Made in the USA.

Tagged 44. This is a 618HH, which runs tight--so best for a 42. Or a 44, if you want the 1950s bad boy biker jacket look! Measurements:

NB: I bought this from Monitor, tried it on once... thought "THIS IS GORGEOUS AND BADASS ALL AT ONCE!") then got bitten by the Lost Worlds bug.... so now I want a J23 or J24 this needs to go!

Chest: 22 3/4
Sleeve: 25 (straight down)
Shoulder: 19 3/4
Length: 23 1/2 (from the bottom of the collar)
Hem: 21

THIS is the Schott Perfecto you want. In fact, THIS is the motorcycle jacket you want!

The Perfecto really needs no introduction at all--although if you're interested, I have a short history of this jacket in the post below! It suffices to say that this is THE classic biker jacket--the original, and still the best--short, tight, and awesome, this is a true American icon.

And this is no ordinary steerhide Perfecto--this is cut from Italian horsehide. A seriously substantial leather, this will mold to your body as you wear it, getting better and more attractive with use. I'll last for decades, and will develop absolutely beautiful grain.

It has a quilted lining for warmth, and a large interior map pocket. The main zipper is a beautifully robust Schott-branded zipper, and the studs are all Schott studs.

This jacket is NEW, WITH TAGS--just as it would be from a Schott store, but without the hefty price tag!

Naturally, this jacket was Made in the USA.

The 618HH Perfecto is now $1,025 new. So, how about $650, or offer, boxed, shipped, and insured in the USA, for THIS NEW Perfecto? https://static.**.fbcdn.net/images/emoji.php/v9/t4c/1/16/1f642.png (A bit less than I paid, IIRC.)
Where are you? Alexandria Virginia, United States here.

Also have a 641hh in size 38 brand new with tags, but too small for meee.
