I briefly had a black Borsalino, which I returned because of a sizing issue. I would have kept it, but in retrospect I'm glad it was exchanged for a dark grey. The black, for me, was just too severe. The dark grey brings out my skin tone and whatever I'm wearing. The dark grey gets a lot of use, I don't think the black would have.
